Credentials store the service secrets used by the workflow. Create them once in n8n, then select them in the nodes that call each service.
In Credentials → Create credential, add your OpenAI API key and SMTP connection. Assign OpenAI to all text-generation nodes and both image requests. Assign SMTP to Send publishing package via SMTP.
If generating documentation, add the Notion integration credential to that branch and grant it access to the destination page. Sender and recipient addresses belong in Email configuration, while keys and passwords remain in credentials.
The delivery node uses these expressions to select the addresses and generated files:
